STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A South Shore man with a history of carrying out knifepoint robberies at local businesses is headed back to prison.

The defendant, 31-year-old Richard Becker, was sentenced Tuesday to two and a half to five years of incarceration, in connection with a 2023 incident at the Sunrise Gourmet Deli in Richmond.
