LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington man is facing numerous charges after he was arrested by police Tuesday.

According to Lexington Police, officers were sent to the 400 block of Hawkins Avenue around 9:38 a.m. When they got there, they discovered that an incident had occurred between two adult males in the area of East Fifth Street and Ohio Street. During the altercation, the victim was assaulted, and their firearm was taken by the suspect.

The suspect, identified as 47-year-old Larry Wilson, was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
