Cirque Du Soleil has come back to Denver with a spectacular new show! Experience "LUZIA -- A Waking Dream of Mexico," starting in June!
From June 1 to July 9, you can discover LUZIA, where a waking dream transports you to a multi-colored imaginary Mexico. Inspire and explore your senses as cultural music plays, acrobats and dancers amaze, and colors and lights explode in an extraordinary performance you won't soon forget! Fantastic music, Mexican superheroes, soccer players, singers, scuba diving clowns, and a magnificent monarch butterfly -- LUZIA has all the colors, action, and awe-inspiring stunts you could ever hope for in a Cirque Du Soleil show. Not only that, but the Cirque organizers have added a bit of a twist to their already-amazing production.
LUZIA will be the first time Cirque du Soleil will present a production under a Big Top featuring printed patterns and designs that perfectly reflect the theme of the show. The patterns reflect the association between Cirque du Soleil (the sun) and Mexico (the word originates from Metzli, meaning "moon," and Xuxtli which means "middle"). The newest white-and-gold Big Top truly symbolizes the meeting of two celestial bodies: the sun and the moon.
