WICHITA, Kan. — Every team in the AAC besides Memphis basketball has two very key things in common.

They're all behind the 14th-ranked Tigers (21-4, 11-1 AAC) in the league standings, and they all save their best shot for Penny Hardaway's team .

That can take a toll on a team over the course of a season. So, how has Memphis − which makes the trip to Wichita State on Sunday (11 a.m., ESPN) for a "Yellow Out" game at Koch Arena − managed to navigate that so well so far?

"I think the biggest thing is you've just got to want it, honestly," said Tigers senior guard Tyrese Hunter. "You can't dream about these moments − like, 'Oh, I want to be top in the conference,' or, 'I want to have this,' − (but), then, when the moment comes, you can't ... go out there and perform what you prepared (to do) during that time.

"So, I think, just be us. Don't overthink. (Remember) they're going to try to hunt us. You've just got to be ready for it."
