The No. 16 Missouri Tigers (20-6, 9-4 SEC) take on the Arkansas Razorbacks (15-11, 4-9) Saturday. Tip-off from Bud Walton Arena is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college basketball odds around the Missouri vs. Arkansas odds , and make our expert college basketball picks and predictions .

Mizzou, No. 16 in the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll , took down No. 4 Alabama 110-98 Wednesday. F Mark Mitchell had 31 points, and G Caleb Grill hit 3 triples on his way to 25 points. If Mizzou wasn’t seen as a threat to make some noise in the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers are now on that radar. Mizzou spanked the Razorbacks 83-65 at home Jan. 18.

Arkansas has lost 3 of 4 after a 67-60 cover as a 16-point dog at Auburn Wednesday. F Adou Thiero had a team-high 16 points. F Zvonimir Ivisic had a forgettable game, going 0-for-10 from the floor (0-for-9 from deep) with 0 points and 8 boards. The Razorbacks’ season took a turn for the worst when they lost G Boogie Fland (hand) for the season in that Mizzou game. He was averaging 14.9 points per game (PPG), and the Razorbacks are now 4-6 over their last 10.

Missouri at Arkansas picks and predictions

Prediction

Moneyline

Mizzou is just 3-4 on the road thus far, but that won’t deter me here. The Tigers are 7-3 straight up over the last 10 and 8-2 ATS.

So let’s go to the spread.

Against the spread

As mentioned, Mizzou is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 and blew the doors off Mizzou Arena at Arkansas’ expense last month. The Tigers are tied for 12th in the country with 83.7 PPG. While their defense isn’t spectacular, they are opportunistic at fifth in the country with 10 steals per game.

Take MISSOURI -1.5 ( -110 ).

Over/Under

The Tigers are 6-4 O/U in their last 10, and the Razorbacks are 3-7. There’s a misconception about Mizzou, though. Yes, the Tigers have one of the highest-scoring offenses in the country, but they’re not exactly cranking up that Reel 2 Real song “I like to move it, move it.” They are tied for just 127th with a 68.1 pace. That means they’re just super efficient, as evidenced by the tied-for-27th 48.5% field-goal percentage.

What does all of this mean? Take the UNDER 149.5 ( -115 ). They cashed this Under last month at Mizzou, and I don’t expect another 83 from them.
