With the fog redeveloping tonight, a few slick spots will be possible but will not be like what we saw Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be near freezing Thursday morning, but still a good idea to plan ahead and give yourself a few extra minutes. The remainder of the work week looks quiet with temperatures on both Thursday and Friday in the upper 40s and lower 50s, or a few degrees above average for early February. Our next cold front arriving on Saturday will bring gusty winds and colder temperatures back to Kansas this weekend. Looking ahead… even colder weather, possibly Arctic in nature, will invade the state early next week. Furthermore, statewide snow chances return on Monday night into Tuesday though amounts and possible impacts are uncertain. Another chance at snow will arrive next week on Wednesday night into Thursday. It appears to be an active week so you will need to stay on top of the forecast! Tonight: Cloudy. Patchy fog late. Wind: SE/N 5-10. Low: 33. Tomorrow: Early morning patchy fog then sunny and breezy. Wind: N/NE 10-20; gusty. High: 48. Mon: Low: 26. High: 38. Mostly cloudy; snow possible into the night. Tue: Low: 24. High: 30. Cloudy and breezy with a chance of snow. Wed: Low: 16. High: 28. Cloudy and cold.
