WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A familiar face to the KFDX, Texoma’s Fox and Texoma’s Homepage family will join the news desk as the morning anchor on March 18.

Natalie McCain will assume the role alongside Morning Anchor Jalen Wells.

“What an honor it is to get to anchor alongside the incredible Jalen Wells,” McCain said. “I can’t wait to wake up with Texoma on the other side of the desk.”

McCain will join Wells for KFDX 3 News Today, Texoma’s Fox Morning Edition and KFDX 3 News and Noon.

“I’m extremely excited to have Natalie join the morning crew. I’ve gotten to know Natalie as a colleague and friend over the past few years, and I’m a huge fan of how she matches her creativeness, wit, and heart with her journalistic craft,” Wells said about his new co-anchor.

McCain started with the station in July 2023 as a digital content producer for Texoma’s Homepage before becoming an on-air reporter in June 2024. Her growth is indicative of her commitment to Texoma, according to News Director Darrell Franklin.

“Our viewers have grown to love Natalie because of her commitment to truth and passion for storytelling,” Franklin said. “Now, we’re all in for a real treat as Natalie continues to bring us all of these things, while also delivering the local news we depend on each morning.”

McCain’s first show in the anchor position will be KFDX 3 News Today at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18.
