You couldn't find a bigger mismatch in terms of Final Four experience if you tried. Geno Auriemma will participate in his 24th Final Four as head coach of UConn, while UCLA is in its first-ever Women's Final Four. UCLA has been one of the great stories of the season behind star Lauren Betts, but this is UConn in the NCAA tournament. Paige Bueckers scored 34, 40 and 31 points in the last three rounds to power the Huskies to Tampa. UConn won all four of its NCAA tournament games so far by double digits. UCLA gave up 28 points to LSU's Flau'jae Johnson in the Elite Eight. That's a concern going into Friday because Bueckers could produce an even better offensive showing against the Bruins defense. The Bruins need Betts, who averages 20 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, to come close to matching Bueckers' scoring output to have a chance of pulling off the upset. UCLA can certainly hang within the 8.5-point spread, but beating UConn at this stage is so difficult. If UConn wins, we could see a showdown of women's college basketball powers between the Huskies and South Carolina on Sunday. Gambling problem? Call (877-8-HOPENY) or text HOPENY (467369).
