According to FOX 35 Orlando , the authorities received the call at 9:19 p.m., which led to the victim's discovery. The Orlando Police Department stated she was identified as the roommate of the person who reported the gunfire, suggesting a possible domestic incident.

The address listed, 746 West Livingston Street, became the scene where the woman's body was found, the police, upon arriving found the body of a black woman who was later established to be the caller's roommate, and though the Orlando Police Department has not disclosed the names of either the victim or the person of interest who stayed at the scene and is working with detectives, what they have found so far leads them to believe the shooting may have been rooted in domestic conflict.
