If you’re a Rachael Ray fan, then we’ve got good news.
Last month, Rachael Ray teamed up with Poshmark for “Posh Closets for Charity,” a virtual shopping event where she sold her clothes and accessories for a good cause. And as you can probably imagine, Rachael Ray fans were over the moon — all 70 of her clothing and jewelry items sold out in less than 48 hours! Now, Ray is at it again with a second and final “closet drop.” On Thursday, June 14, starting at 12 p.m. (Eastern Time), Ray is adding 70 more items to the closet, with all the proceeds going to Yum-o!, a nonprofit organization she founded in 2006. “I’m so excited to partner with Poshmark to launch my Posh Closet for Charity for the benefit of our Yum-o! organization,” Ray said in a press release. “These are some of my favorite items!” Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of pieces worn on the “Rachael Ray Show,” in addition to the Alice + Olivia dress and Zara bomber jacket worn by Ray as a host on “Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition” (Season 7), the Raquel Allegra cashmere sweater worn to the White House Easter Egg Roll with Michelle Obama, the Isabel Marant Étoile skirt worn at the launch party for Ray’s Nutrish DISH puppy party, the Robert Rodriguez dress worn in Melanie Dunea's "My Last Supper, the Next Course" book, and last but not least, the infamous Rickie Freeman for Teri Jon gown worn at the White House State Dinner in 2016.
Sounds pretty fancy, doesn’t it? And if you’re worried about the price, don’t be. Many of the items in Ray’s closet sold for less than $100, with a few accessories priced as low as $30. What makes this major deal even better? The proceeds from the drop will benefit a very worthy cause.
Ray’s nonprofit Yum-o! was founded in hopes of helping families form healthy relationships with food. In addition, Yum-o! works to feed hungry kids and fund cooking education and scholarships for young culinary creatives who are interested in getting into the food and restaurant business.
