Lawmakers will continue questioning EPA Administrator Michael Regan and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland about spending and administration rules.

Haaland had tough hearings before the House Natural Resources Committee and the Energy and Natural Resources Committee last week. She’ll be before Senate appropriators this time around.

Lawmakers have been particularly keen on asking Haaland about oil and gas drilling, Bureau of Land Management rulemaking and a mining road in Alaska that the department is poised to block.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), ranking member of the Interior and the Environment Appropriations Subcommittee, last Thursday put off her questions until this week.
