On Tuesday, the Rockets officially finalized and announced their roster to begin the NBA's 2024-25 regular season. Houston's first game is at home on Wednesday night, Oct. 23 , versus Charlotte.

The league mandates that rosters be trimmed from a maximum of 21 players during the offseason and training camp to 18 — a maximum of 15 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals — during the regular season.

Houston will enter 2024-25 with 14 players on standard contracts, one under the maximum, for purposes of roster flexibility .
