Low clouds and patchy fog will quickly come back to Kansas tonight and hang around on Friday. Lack of sunshine will keep temperatures generally in the 30s, or about five to ten degrees cooler than today. Our next cold front arriving on Saturday will bring gusty winds and colder temperatures back to Kansas this weekend. Highs in the lower to middle 40s on Saturday will be followed by middle to upper 30s on Sunday. Both days look dry except for patchy drizzle on Saturday morning across south central Kansas. Looking ahead… even colder weather, possibly Arctic in nature, will invade the state early next week. Furthermore, statewide snow chances return on Monday night into Tuesday though amounts and possible impacts are uncertain. Today: Becoming sunny and breezy. Wind: N/NE 10-20; gusty. High: 45.
