Zoo Lights

Back for its 28th year, this lights festival typically sells out on most nights. The light show covers 60 acres and features animated animal sculptures, animal encounters, and entertainment.

Free Ice Skating Rink

Where: Denver International Airport

Looking to kill some time before your flight? Go ice skating at the DEN Plaza, completely for free!

Ice Castles

When: Until Feb. 2
Where: Dillon Town Park

Explore ice castles with icicle-adorned archways in Dillon for an unforgettable winter experience.

Mile High Soul Club

Where: Syntax Physic Opera

DJ’s spin classic soul, Motown, and funk records at this monthly dance party. 

Denver Art Museum Free First Saturday

When: Jan. 5
Where: Denver Art Museum

Enjoy free admission on the first Saturday of every month at the Denver Art Museum. 

Snowga

When: Saturday mornings until Feb. 22
Where: Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park

Come ready to stretch on the ice at this seasonal event led by Yoga High.

90's Night

When: Jan. 5, 8:30 p.m.
Where: Tailgate Tavern

Rock out with a nostalgic, Denver-based, 90's cover band at Tailgate Tavern. The show is free, and there will even be a 90's costume contest with prizes like beanie babies and 90's DVDs.

Noche de Pena

When: Jan. 5, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Dairy Arts Center in Boulder

This casual event brings live music, poetry, and food focused on celebrating the joy of community. Admission is $15 and the event will feature musicians Adolfo Romero (Chile), Elisa García (Uruguay), Leo Corona (México), Francisco Marques (Brazil), and poet María Ferndanda Iwasaki (Perú/Spain).

The MusicFest at Steamboat

When: Jan. 5-10
Where: Steamboat Springs, CO

With over 200 hours of live music, this festival brings thousands to a world-class ski resort for six days of winter sports and music. 

Sunday, January 6

Colorado Bridal Show

When: Jan. 6, 12:00 p.m.
Where: The Curtis Hotel

This annual boutique bridal show allows you to shop for bridal professionals, look for gowns, preview samples, and more!
