From private igloos to champagne tower kits, Denver restaurants are serving up a special New Year's Eve.

We might be missing the giant celebrations and parties this year, but that doesn't mean tonight has to be boring. Whether you're celebrating at home or going out for a socially-distanced date, you can find plenty of food and drink specials to indulge in around the Denver metro. Treat yourself! It's been a rough year.

If you do go out, please celebrate responsibly—which includes wearing a mask and social distancing this year, in addition to having a designated driver. While AAA and RTD aren't offering free rides this year to encourage people to stay home, you do have other options. The Sawaya Law Firm has a Free Cab Ride Program that's available to Denver and Colorado Springs residents on many holidays throughout the year. They'll reimburse one-way rides home, up to $35, for anyone over 21 — just send them the receipt!

In case you end up having too much fun tonight and need a hangover cure, take a look at which stores and restaurants will be open on New Year's Day.

Happy New Year! How do you plan on ringing in 2021? Tell us in the comments below.
