Tuesday was a good day for the Minnewaska boys and girls track and field teams. The Minnewaska girls team won a conference championship with a team score of 183.5, while the Minnewaska boys team placed second with 134 points.

The Minnewaska girls team had nine first place finishes. Jayda Kolstoe won the girls discus (120’0) and the girls shot put (36’9), and Dacia Fleury won the girls triple jump (34’6.75).

Emma Hellerman, Ellie Winter, Fleury, and Mya VanLuik won the girls 4x200-meter relay (1:49.50), while Fleury, Nori Song, Olivia Danielson, and Lauryn Ankeny won the girls 4x400-meter relay (4:08.01), and Ella Larson, Aubrey Polzin, Maia Larson, and Song won the girls 4x800-meter relay (10:28.07).

Song won the 1600-meter run (5:41.81), Mya VanLuik won the 100-meter dash (13.00), and Danielson won the 800-meter run (2:28.72).

On the boys side, Minnewaska’s Asante Adams won the boys 200-meter dash (22.38), Ian Mills won the 3200-meter run (10:42.07), and Owen Meulebroeck won the 300-meter hurdles (40.29). Carter Meyer, Kaiden Harvey, Meulebroeck, and Adams won the boys 4x200-meter relay (1:32.51).

The West Central Area boys and girls track and field teams both took eighth on Tuesday. The WCA boys team had 14.33 points, while the girls team had 24.

The Minnewaska girls team, along with the Osakis boys team, compete in the Class A True Team State Championship at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Eden Prairie High School.

The Alexandria Community Christian School and Parkers Prairie Panthers crowned conference champions on Tuesday.

At the 2025 Park Region Conference Championships at Wadena-Deer Creek High School on Tuesday, ACCS’ Jeremiah Oleson won the boys 110-meter hurdles (16.89).

Parkers Prairie earned five first place finishes on Tuesday. Dominic Reiman won the boys triple jump (43’1) and the 4x100-meter relay (45.60) with Brant Bak, Samuel Krueger, and Xavier Richardson.

Norah Froslee won the girls 1600-meter run (5:33.75) and the 3200-meter run (12:15.35), while Sarah Toyli won the 100-meter hurdles (17.01).

The Parkers Prairie girls team placed third with 107 points, while the boys team placed fourth with 76 points. The ACCS boys team placed seventh with 10 points.

Ottertail Central won the boys team title with 125 points and the girls team title with 122 points.

A-B-E boys 3rd, girls 4th at Little Eight Conference Championships



A handful of second place finishes led the way for the Ashby-Brandon-Evansville boys and girls track and field teams at the Little Eight Conference Championships on Tuesday in Wheaton.

A-B-E’s Micah Fuller placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (19.20), and in the 4x200-meter relay (1:41.62) with Justin Ledermann, Kenneth Spielman, and August Bredberg. Spielman, Kaleb Fuglseth, Bredberg, and Benjamin Byron placed second in the boys 4x800-meter relay (9:34.41).

Lauren Thoennes placed second in the girls 100-meter dash (13.47) and the long jump (15’6). Amelia Evjen placed second in the pole vault (6’6) and Taylor Dingwall placed second in the high jump (4’6).

The A-B-E boys placed third with 90 points, while the girls team placed fourth with 111. Border West won the boys title with 227 points, and the girls title with 242.
