SKANDIA, Mich. (WLUC) - What does a typical day in the kitchen look like for a family of ten?

17-inch cast iron skillets and lots of dirty dishes.

Heather Bell is no stranger to big-batch meals, and thanks to TikTok, neither are 2.9 million others.

Bell has garnered a massive following on social media sharing her family’s adoption story, holiday celebrations, big family cooking, and glimpses into everyday life under the username @justthebells10.

Now, Bell is getting ready to release a cookbook!

Mama Bell’s Big Family Cooking: 100+ Big-Batch Homestyle Recipes Your Family Is Gonna Love! goes on sale on Oct. 22.

Mama Bell shows you how to make her family-favorite biscuits and gravy recipe.

But first, the family explains how the cookbook came to be.

Mama Bell’s Big Family Cooking is more than a cookbook: it’s a story of the Bell family.

Instead of categorizing the cookbook by style or cuisine, it’s categorized by family member. Each Bell is represented in multiple recipes.

The Biscuits and gravy recipe comes from chapter three: breakfast recipes. Its blurb reads, “They tried to have a family with no success and after four years adopted their first son David, whose favorite meal was breakfast.”

And finally, breakfast at the Bell’s.

The cookbook goes on sale on October 22 at all major book retailers including Amazon and Barnes and Noble .
