Gentry Watrous, Chandler Basha, soccer, Jr.: Scored one goal and recorded one assist as the Bears beat Scottsdale Chaparral 3-1 in Thursday's second round of the Open Division playoffs.

Sarah Brutto, Anthem Boulder Creek, soccer, So.: Scored the decisive goal in the Jaguars’ 2-1 win over Phoenix Pinnacle in Thursday’s second round of the Open Division playoffs.

Raquel Wilson, Show Low, basketball, Sr.: She had 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks as the Cougars beat Snowflake in Thursday’s quarterfinals of the Copper Division playoffs.

Gean Lagarda, Yuma Catholic, soccer, Sr.: Recorded back-to-back games with hat tricks, scoring six total goals and tallying one assist, as the Shamrocks beat Tucson Empire and Phoenix Bourgade Catholic by a combined score of 9-1 in the first two rounds of the 3A playoffs.

Maximo Moreno, Goodyear Trivium Prep, soccer, Jr.: Scored three goals and recorded one assist as the Crimson Knights beat Tucson Desert Christian 11-2 in the opening round of the 2A playoffs.

Colby Jessup, Chandler Valley Christian, basketball, Jr.: He had 34 points, making 8 of 13 3-pointers, in the Trojans' win over Coolidge in the first round of the Copper Division before following that up with a 20 point-effort in an 82-48 win against North Valley Christian Academy in the quarterfinals.
