If you're looking to recreate your Harry Potter fantasies in real life, now's your chance! D.C. Potter Crawl is the perfect opportunity to don your magical garb, dust off your wand, and practice your spells with other Harry Potter fans, all while enjoying drinks at some of the best bars in Dupont Circle.
You’ve read the books, perused the fan sites, and seen the movies (and talked about how much better the books are). You even know what house you’d be sorted into, thanks to the internet. But you’ve never been able to take your love for Harry Potter to the next level. Well, now you can finally put on that cloak and pull out your wand because participating bars in the Dupont Circle neighborhood will welcome wizards of all shapes and sizes at the D.C. Participating favorites include Public Bar, Café Citron, The Front Page, and James Hoban’s. You can see the full list of bars here.
Early bird tickets can be bought online here for $25 per person, or you can buy them for $40 a person the day of the bar crawl.
Your ticket will get your cover-free access to the bars, a refillable magical Potter mug which you can take home, prizes, and photos of the event. You’re encouraged to wear your best Harry Potter costume, as the best dressed will be rewarded. Each of the bars will have their own specials, but you’ll generally be able to enjoy $2 beers, $3 rails, $4 butterbeer shots, and discounts on food.
