WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Wichita Falls boasts the lowest median home sale price among large Texas cities according to a retirement website, helping bolster the Falls to third place on RetirementLiving.com’s list of best cities in Texas to retire in.

The website ranked cities of more than 100,000 residents in areas like percentage of residents 65 and over, median home sale price, median rent, poverty rate, and sales tax. RetirementLiving.com also listed Wichita Falls as a “senior-friendly community”, citing that 16% of the city’s population is 65 or over.
