Our next cold front arriving on Saturday will bring gusty winds and colder temperatures back to Kansas this weekend. Highs in the lower to middle 40s on Saturday will be followed by middle to upper 30s on Sunday. Both days look dry except for patchy drizzle on Saturday morning across south central Kansas. Looking ahead… even colder weather, possibly Arctic in nature, will invade the state early next week. Furthermore, statewide snow chances return on Monday night into Tuesday bringing a good chance at widespread accumulations. It is still early so it is unclear how much snow will fall. A second system will be on it’s heels Wednesday night into Thursday bringing more statewide snow chances! Tonight: Increasing clouds. Wind: NE 5-10. Low: 30. Tomorrow: Cloudy and colder. Wind: E 5-15. High: 39. Sat: Low: 36. High: 45. Morning drizzle and fog, then breezy with clearing skies. Sun: Low: 23. High: 39. Partly cloudy. Wed: Low: 18. High: 25. Cloudy; snow chances into the night. Thu: Low: 15. High: 27. Morning flurries then cloudy and cold.
