JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Jackson Police Department initially told WLBT 3 On Your Side that a female employee stabbed and killed a male employee at a Jackson McDonald’s. However, after further investigation, JPD now tells us that it is unclear if the woman was an employee.

The Jackson Police Department is investigating a homicide Sunday afternoon.

Detective Tommie Brown tells WLBT 3 On Your Side that the incident happened at the McDonald’s on Northside Drive and Hanging Moss Road.

According to Brown, 22-year-old Destiny Gibson allegedly stabbed a male employee. She is in custody.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
