Get your glow sticks and running shoes ready for a night of fun!

Are you looking for an event that combines physical fitness, music, and glow sticks? You're in luck! The world's first running music festival, the Night Nation Run 5k, is coming to Washington, D.C., this summer. The Night Nation Run, happening on June 16 at RFK Stadium, is going to be a blend of a music festival and a nighttime fun run. The course will be lined with all sorts of epic entertainment, such as DJs, laser light shows, a lantern land, bubble zones, selfie stations, and of course, constant music playing through the duration of the run. However, the post-run party is where the real fun begins. Accompanying the packed lineup of DJs on the main stage will be neon lights, fog machines, multiple giveaways, and even confetti guns. This is all lead up to the end of the night, when a surprise headliner DJ will cap off the party. Interested in joining in on the fun? This is what you need to know! The gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and the first DJ will hit the stage at 7 p.m. Come early and join the pre-run dance party to loosen up before the main event. The race officially starts at 8:30 p.m. The registration fee starts at $60 for the standard package. This includes a glow stick and admission to the Night Nation after-party. There are also Premium and VIP packages, which are a bit more expensive, but they include varying degrees of Night Nation swag, including t-shirts, LED glow glasses, backpacks, and other fun items. Participants are encouraged to deck themselves out in colorful glow gear. It is also a kid-friendly event, with runners under the age of 8 given free admission with adult registration. This is fun that the entire family can enjoy! Not only will you have fun as you run, you will also feel good about supporting a worthy cause. The Night Nation Run's official charity is Stand Up to Cancer, an initiative centered around cancer research. So hurry up and register for the first-ever running music festival -- you do NOT want to miss out on this! Do you think that the Night Nation running music festival sounds like an awesome experience?
