Modeled after the traditional Christmas markets in Germany, the Baltimore German Christmas Village is a unique, authentic German experience that boasts more than 45 vendors of German crafts and products, a Bavarian beer garden selling beers and brats, and the beautiful lit-up backdrop of a quaint German town. It's open through December 24, so there's plenty of time to return to shop and enjoy the festival ambiance again and again. And don't forget to ride the Ferris wheel!

Baltimore Parade of Lighted Boats

WHEN: Saturday, December 7 | starts at 4 p.m.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of info out about the annual boat parade. But supposedly it starts at Anchorage Marina at 6 and arrives in the Inner Harbor by 6:30 p.m. This traditional parade kicks off the holiday season in a way that is truly Baltimore.
