Back by popular demand!

What goes better with fall weather and Halloween activities than a Harry Potter corn maze? Besides a tall glass of ButterBeer, we can't think of much else. Sunrise Farms, located in Gambrills, Maryland, about 30 minutes south of Baltimore, is bringing back its popular Potter-themed maze. Whether you’re a Muggle, a Wizard, or an animagas, this might just be the best news of the year. And you don't even need a Hogwarts letter to get in.

This year’s eight-acre corn maze is filled with twists and turns, fun props, and maybe a Horcrux or two. You and your crew can navigate your way through the maze of corn, which has an intricate system of Harry Potter designs cut into it. You’ll be given a map with hints.

While you might be having flashbacks of the hedge maze from the Goblet of Fire, there’s no worries about getting lost and meeting up with “he who must not be named” at this maze. You’ll receive a flag that you can raise above the corn stalks to alert the tower lookout that you need assistance. Prizes are awarded daily to those who finish the maze.

Along with the corn maze, there are pedal carts, hayrides, a petting zoo, a rope ladder, pumpkins, food vendors, and much more. You can pose for pictures at fun props like the Fat Lady Portrait and Platform 9 ¾. There’s even a Sorting Hat.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there is limited capacity, so it’s best to pre-purchase tickets. Masks are required.

The Maryland Corn Maze has been named among the 25 Best Corn Mazes Across the Country. Opening day is Saturday, September 19, 2020. The address is 389 Gambrills Road, Gambrills, Maryland, 21054.
