Many favorite festivals and events have gone virtual or altered their format this year to accommodate social distancing requirements related to COVID-19, including the Denver Zoo's Boo at the Zoo, the Great American Beer Festival, and the Denver Taco Festival. Pumpkin Harvest Festival

Fall into some old-fashioned fun during this annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival! Tickets include a 90-minute, curated experience with pioneer games, live music, a pumpkin walk, photo booth, and craft kits, along with pumpkins, treats, and beverages to purchase. Advanced ticket purchase required.

Tom Papa at Comedy Works

With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, television, and radio as well as on the live stage. Tom has four critically acclaimed specials and has been seen in Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant, Chris Rock’s film Top Five, and the Emmy Award-winning HBO film Behind the Candelabra.

Great American Beer Festival

Due to the global health pandemic, the annual GABF celebrating the wonderful world of craft beer won't be able to be celebrated in person this year. Organizers couldn't imagine a year without it, though, so they've created a virtual, locally-focused passport program that will allow attendees to experience beer while meeting in spirit. Passport holders will have exclusive access to "beery" deals at participating festival breweries nationwide.

Boo at the Zoo: Storybook Safari

Denver DJ Delivery

The Riverfront Park Association has re-created its summer concert series to meet the safety precautions of COVID-19 by bringing three awesome DJs to Denver neighborhoods. The DJs will travel on the Dragomi Art Car, a colorful origami snake with bright lights built on a modified 20-foot flatbed truck. 

Annual Harvest Fest

When: October 3
Where: Ironton Distillery & Crafthouse
Cost: Free

This annual festival is free and is perfect for all ages. Food, drink, and bottle specials are available all day long, and visitors can pick a pumpkin for $5 to decorate. Live music will be available from 2-8 p.m.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival Virtual Experience

This will be the first ever Colorado Dragon Boat Festival Virtual Experience! This is a 2.5-hour experience where you can pause, fast forward, rewind, and create your own optimum viewing experience thanks to Denver Film and their new viewing platform. Oktobergrass Weekly Bluegrass Series: Pick & Howl

The popular annual Denver Taco Festival is transitioning to a socially distanced event that allows participants to purchase a coupon book with amazing discounts and buy-one-get-one free deals at a variety of restaurants, food trucks, and bars throughout the city.

Hot Chocolate 15k/5k

The 2020 Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Denver event is going virtual.
