Saturday, April 27

Earth Day Bird Walk

The Earth Day Bird Walk will take place from 8 to 10 a.m., at the Howard County Conservancy, 10526 Old Frederick Road, in Woodstock, Maryland. This is a FREE event,   so rise and shine, and get there early! Learn more here.

SpringFest

With three outdoor stages featuring classic rock and acoustic/folk from more than 20 bands, SpringFest is a FREE, family-friendly event. From noon to 8 p.m., enjoy crafts, vendors, and local food and craft beer, as well as sidewalk sales, outdoor dining, and free museum admission from local establishments. Create a Dish and Make a Wish | Kids' Cooking Class

The little chefs will learn how to make this delicious dessert.

From 8 to 9:30 a.m., kiddos can work with Maggiano's Chef Bruce to learn how to make tiramisu! They'll even get their own chef hat to keep and a small buffet to enjoy afterwards! The event benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation in celebration of World Wish Day. Tickets are $10-$30. Learn more here!

Keeping Jazz Alive

The African Art Museum of MD is hosting Keeping Jazz Alive from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Check out the exhibit "On the Wall of Fame 'Memories of Legendary JAZZ greats,'" as well as vendors and refreshments. The event is alcohol-free, and seating is limited.
