Maryland

A Cappella Charity Concert for St. James' Academy | St. James Episcopal Church, Maryland | Saturday

Five award-winning a cappella groups will be performing this evening, and a portion of the tickets will be donated to children of west Baltimore. National Wine and Food Festival at National Harbor | Waterfront National Harbor, National Harbor | Saturday and Sunday

Springfest | Ocean City, Maryland | Friday-Sunday

Kingman Island Bluegrass & Folk Festival 2019 | Kingman Island Park | Saturday

Experience a fun-filled day with a lineup you won't forget including Dustbowl Revival, The Ballroom Thieves, Tui, and many more. May the 4th Outer Space Dance Party | Reagan National Airport | Saturday

Running of the Chihuahuas | D.C. Wharf | Saturday

Come for the races, and stay for the music, food, and beer garden! This annual Running of the Chihuahuas event will benefit Rural Dog Rescue and features over 100 chihuahuas all racing for the title of fastest dog in the city. 

Shear Madness | The Kennedy Center | Ongoing

Get ready for an evening of laughs and enjoyable entertainment you won't forget. Shear Madness is an interactive play set in a barbershop with a who-dun-it storyline! Y2K Pop-Up Bar | Decades | Ongoing through end of May

If you grew up in the '90s, you might have fond memories of these pop culture throwbacks. You can revisit the era this weekend at Decades Nightclub in D.C. The "Y2K Pop-Up Bar" will be part nightlife and part art installation created by D.C. local artists Anna Pineapple and Kira Tai.
