Eccentric in every way, Ocean City's Ocean Gallery is a Boardwalk gem that everyone has to experience.
Right on the Boardwalk, at 2nd Street, is an Ocean City gem that you simply can't miss—like, literally. An art gallery like no other, you can easily spot Ocean Gallery's colorful flags and signs just beckoning visitors to step into this glorious and artistic rabbit hole.
This Boardwalk favorite was founded over 30 years ago and has been dazzling tourists and locals alike ever since. It all began with Baltimore native Joe KroArt Jr., an American visionary artist, whose childhood dream it was to revive an excitement in art. He felt that the art courses he took didn't reflect the enthusiasm that he personally felt stirring within him. And anybody who has visited Ocean Gallery can attest to the fact that KroArt achieved that with flying colors—again, literally.

An outrageous amount of art can be found covering almost every surface of this seaside landmark. You can browse and purchase the works of Jonathan Brown, Paul Deremigis, and even KroArt himself! Blue crabs, ravens, ocean scenes—most of the art pieces displayed at Ocean Gallery are a celebration of Maryland itself.

In addition to art (in the traditional sense), Ocean Gallery also features some unique cars. The most-renowned car on display is the Batmobile, equipped with Batman insignias and bat wings! There's also the Titanic car (which, like its namesake is at the bottom of the ocean), as well as a car transformed to look like a cow.
You can't find an Ocean City site more unique and cool than Ocean Gallery, and if you're an art lover, there's plenty for you to see.
