The MLB-themed plates are up for auction to celebrate the 2021 All-Star Game in Denver.
Baseball fans can bid on a chance to win one of 10 Major League Baseball-themed Colorado license plates to celebrate the upcoming 2021 All-Star Game in Denver. The Colorado Disability Funding Committee organized the auction, which will benefit Colorado residents with disabilities.
Winners of the auction will earn the right to use the letter and number configuration as their official registered license plate. If you live out of state or don't want to make it your official plate number, the Colorado Disability Funding Committee will work with you to get a vanity plate that you can display in your living room, garage, or wherever you watch baseball.
The auction's FAQs answer all questions you may have about how the license plate configuration works and how winners will be able to use it. Read the FAQs here.
Don't waste time in the dugout and set your bid! The auction is live and goes until July 14 at 6 p.m. (MT).
The 10 plates available for bidding include:
- COORS
- GOROCKS
- BBPLAYER
- BLLPARK
- ASTAR
- COROCKY
- DIAMND
- DUGOUT
- HOMRUN
- VOTE
The "COORS" plate has the most bids and is running for over $1,000. Learn more about the auction here.
This isn't the first time the Colorado Disability Funding Committee auctioned off license plate configurations. In April, the organization opened a weed-themed license plate auction, which generated over $45,000 to benefit Coloradans with disabilities: "ISIT420" went for $6,630.
