Actor Idris Elba took to Twitter on Monday, March 16, to announce that he's the latest entertainment celebrity to succumb to coronavirus:
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how Iβm doing ππΎππΎ No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

Originally from England, the 47-year-old actor is known for his performances in the BBC One series Luther, and as Nelson Mandela in the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013). He has also starred as Heimdall in the Marvel movie franchise.
Last week, married actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced that they are also in isolation, after testing positive for COVID-19 down in Australia.
