He has left the White House for the last time as president.

America's 45th President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania have left the House, but not without some parting words, Melania's classic fashion, and one last photo opportunity of both standing in the doorway of Air Force One waving goodbye—at least, for now.

Vice President Mike Pence was not in attendance to see them off, rather he's attending the Inauguration ceremony. 

According to Fox News, Trump says he'll be back "in some form," and noted that may be sooner than later. But for now, Trump and his family will return to their home in Mar a Lago.

And for now, the transition of power ensues with a whirlwind of inaugural events for America's 46th President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump will not be in attendance for the inauguration. He will be the fourth president who has not attended the inauguration of his successor. Whether you've supported or opposed Trump's presidency, we can all agree that he gave the world no room for neutrality. President Trump stepped into his leadership as Commander-in-Chief on his terms, and as he exits as the 45th President, he leaves just the same. His parting words, "Have a good life, we'll see you soon."
