In case you weren't already aware, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a "Zombie Preparedness" guide on its website as part of a "tongue-in-cheek" campaign that began way back in 2011. However, after everything that happened in 2020 and all that 2021 is predicted to have in store for us, as predicted by Nostradamus, this guide might be a good thing to have on hand. You know, just in case ...
"Wonder why zombies, zombie apocalypse, and zombie preparedness continue to live or walk dead on a CDC web site?" writes the CDC website. "As it turns out what first began as a tongue-in-cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages has proven to be a very effective platform. We continue to reach and engage a wide variety of audiences on all hazards preparedness via 'zombie preparedness'."
So, obviously, this zombie guide is all in good fun!
The guide, which is titled Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse, goes over a brief history of zombies; what to do in real emergency situations, like floods or hurricanes; and how the CDC would respond should a zombie apocalypse happen.
What do you think about the guide? Do you think we'll see Nostradamus's predictions come true? Sound off in the comments below.
