LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A section of I-64 is closed due to a vehicle collision.

The closure is at I-64 West between Buzzard Roost Road and Hempridge Road.

Travelers can take Waddy Road to Frankfort Road to Mt. Eden Road as an alternate route.

It is unknown when that section of the interstate will reopen, or if there are any injuries.
