A deadly collision between a train and a truck in Fort Bend County has prompted an investigation by local authorities. According to KPRC 2 , the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at the junction of FM 2759 and FM 762 in Richmond, Texas, where it has been confirmed there is at least one fatality stemming from the incident. The details surrounding the crash are currently unclear, as investigations are ongoing, and official reports have yet to disclose the circumstances that led to this deadly encounter, what is understood is the crash occurred earlier today, as reported by ABC13 . It is also notable that this is not the first incident of its kind this week; a separate occurrence involving a Union Pacific train and an 18-wheeler recently took place near Klein Oak High School. No injuries were reported in that case. Aerial footage from the scene, captured by ABC13's SkyEye, suggested that a dump truck was involved, though this has yet to be confirmed by ground reports.
