ST. LOUIS — The Loop Trolley won't run this weekend because of ongoing storm cleanup along part of its 2.2-mile route, especially on DeBaliviere Avenue and near Forest Park. The Bi-State Development Agency, which operates the trolley, also cited the need to repair traffic signals along part of the route. The MetroLink light rail system, which also is run by Bi-State, returned to normal service on Tuesday after stretches of its blue and red lines in the area affected by the May 16 tornado and storm had stopped operating and were replaced by buses. Bi-State said some of its regular Metro bus lines continue to be rerouted as needed due to storm cleanup issues.Bi-State during warm-weather months runs the Loop Trolley Thursdays through Sundays between the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park and the western end of the Delmar Loop in University City.
