PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead after a shooting broke out in a south Phoenix neighborhood early Sunday.

Just before 4:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road .

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The suspect is still at large.

No information about the victim’s identity has been released.

Detectives responded to the scene to investigate what led up to the shooting.
