We did it, y'all! We survived the 2025 NBA Trade Deadline. Barely.

Thank you for joining us here in the FanSided trade tracker — here are all the deals that went down in the past few days, if you need a refresher. I certainly do. I barely remember who plays for what team now.

Kings pick up Jake LaRavia from Grizzlies

Somewhat uncommon Kings front office W! Another depth piece for Sacramento, which will send Alex Len, Colby Jones and a second-rounder to the Grizzlies, in what will be absorbed into the Marcus Smart trade.

The Sacramento Kings are acquiring Jake LaRavia from Memphis, league sources tell me.

Clippers and Bucks swap Kevin Porter Jr. for MarJon Beauchamp

I don't particularly understand why this trade happened! I like it for LAC a lot more than Milwaukee because I do not think Kevin Porter Jr is good, and I think Beauchamp can be good in the right system.

The Los Angeles Clippers are trading Kevin Porter Jr. to the Milwaukee Bucks for MarJon Beauchamp, sources tell ESPN.

Marcus Smart, first-round pick headed to Washington as Grizzlies create flexibility

Did the Washington Wizards win the trade deadline? Sort of seems that way! The Wizards picked up another first-round pick by taking on Marcus Smart, who's time in Memphis was kind of a bummer!

Khris Middleton and Marcus Smart to help win a few games, plus a bunch of picks and AJ Johnson to look toward the future? I salute you, Wizards front office.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is headed to the Clippers for Terance Mann, Bones hyland, picks

After refusing to include Terance Mann in any trades for what feels like a decade, the Clippers finally sent him to Atlanta along with Bones Hyland.

In return, they get... a shooter! He hasn't shot particularly well this year, but Bogey can still light it up when healthy. LA's offense has struggled, so I get trading for another guy who can score.

Cavs get De'Andre Hunter from Hawks for LeVert, Niang, three seconds, two swaps

Cleveland is not staying put like last year — they're loading up. Adding De'Andre Hunter addresses Cleveland's one hole in a big way. Phenomenal win-now move for this team.

Atlanta didn't get a great return here, but they probably had to do it. Passing grade.

Phoenix trades Jusuf Nurkic and first-round pick to Charlotte for Cody Martin, Vasilije Micic and second-rounder

The Suns got off of Nurkic's contract, which was the goal all along — they just had to sacrifice a potentially valuable first-rounder to do it.

But they also got back a second-rounder and a player in Cody Martin who can do some nice things for Phoenix's second unit. Solid all around here!

Meanwhile, Charlotte keeps loading up on picks. I like what they've done this deadline — a lot.

Toronto ships Davion Mitchell to Miami for PJ Tucker, second-rounder, cash

Masai Ujiri saw everyone else making trades and wanted to get in on the action.

I'm pretty sure PJ Tucker said he was happy to be back in Miami when he got traded there last night, but it's a cruel business. This deal seems fine! Mitchell being randomly good on the Heat seems obvious.

Sixers pick up Jared Butler from Wizards for Reggie Jackson, first-round pick

Philly will receive four second-rounders as well.

Another win-win? It seems like it! Philadelphia gets another young guard who will be a RFA this offseason, Washington gets another first-round pick, Daryl Morey gets four picks that he'll probably trade in the next few hours.

Is Washington cooking at the deadline? Kind of seems like Washington is cooking at the deadline.

Lakers get their center, acquire Mark Williams from Hornets for Dalton Knecht, unprotected first

Can someone tell Rob Pelinka to give us a little warning before he makes a trade? Once again, the Lakers strike out of nowhere, this time by picking up Williams, a talented third-year center from Charlotte.

I love the potential fit of Williams in Los Angeles, who will undoubtedly fill the starting role immediately... but it certainly cost the Lakers, who had to give up a rookie, an unprotected first-rounder, a pick swap, and Cam Reddish. That's a haul!

Pelicans finally trade Brandon Ingram, who heads to Raptors for Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, two picks

And one of those picks is a first-rounder! BI had been the most popular name on the trade block all season long, and New Orleans was able to find a partner before the deadline.

I'm not sure why Toronto did this... but I don't hate it, either. If the Raptors can lock down Ingram in the offseason (and giving up a first-rounder makes me think they think they can) then I like it a whole lot more. In that case, Toronto all of a sudden has a real young core.

And New Orleans — which knew Ingram would not re-sign there — got a pretty good haul in return.

Knicks send Jericho Sims to Milwaukee for Delon Wright, cash

Honestly, after all these blockbusters, it's kind of nice to get a trade that will not impact the league whatsoever. New York was shopping Jericho Sims for a while and found a partner in Milwaukee. Fine for both sides!

Warriors make a huge move, acquire Jimmy Butler from Heat for Andrew Wiggins

Well, it happened. Jimmy Butler's long personal nightmare of living in Miami has finally ended. This is apparently a five-team deal, and we will keep you updated on the specifics once we have them, but Butler is headed to Golden State while Wiggins and a first-round pick are headed to Miami. Dennis Schroder is headed... somewhere.

The Heat did a good job getting value back with their backs against the wall, and the Warriors are taking a swing. It might sound crazy, but how much more impactful is Butler than Wiggins the next few years? I understand why GS needs to do it, but it certainly doesn't lift them to greatness.

Kings get Jonas Valančiūnas from Wizards for Sidy Cissoko, two second-rounders

If there was any question about the Kings intentions this season, they just answered it; they still want to compete! I like this as a depth move for the Kings, and they only had to get rid of a few seconds and Sidy Cissoko, who spent about 72 hours in Sacramento.

I also think it's a decent return for Valančiūnas; a young player and draft capital, two things the Wizards should prioritize. Win-win!

Pelicans trade Daniel Theis and future pick to Thunder in salary dump

Congratulations to the New Orleans Pelicans... you are now below the luxury tax! They said you couldn't do it, but you proved them wrong. Wow.

Theis is center insurance for OKC, but likely won't play otherwise. Thank goodness Sam Presti got some draft capital, though.

RUMOR: Brian Windhorst says Suns have "begun discussions" on Kevin Durant

"Is it possible that Kevin Durant could be traded to the Warriors? Yes. Will it happen? I'm not afraid to say I don't know," said the ESPN NBA reporter on Wednesday, mentioning it could be a "three, four, five team transaction," that somehow includes... Jimmy Butler.

Buckle up.

Celtics trade Jaden Springer, 2030 second-round pick to Rockets

This is certainly a trade. Springer has received spot minutes when Boston's big names aren't playing, but he won't have it any easier in Houston , which has a pretty crowded backcourt already. Future Rio Grande Valley Vipers legend.

Sixers trade KJ Martin, two second-round picks to Pistons in salary dump

Congratulations to the Philadelphia 76ers for ducking the luxury tax. The city rejoices. You had to give up a young, promising player and picks to do it, but a few extra dollars for an owner is more important to building a team than players or picks, right?

Sources say the Sixers are sending KJ Martin and two second-round picks to the Detroit Pistons. In exhange for that, the Pistons will take on Martin’s salary.

I think it's pretty obvious that KJ Martin will pop up somewhere in a few years as a productive NBA player. Maybe it'll be Detroit! I like this move for the Pistons. Quite literally zero risk.

Bucks ship Khris Middleton to Washington for Kyle Kuzma, AJ Johnson

This is, frankly, a sad ending to a phenomenal tenure for Khris Middleton in Milwaukee. An NBA champion and three-time All-Star, Middleton will always be a legend in Wisconsin. And now he's a Washington Wizard (for now.)

Kuzma has been kind of awful this year, but I don't think anyone in Washington can be fairly judged this year and I think Kuzma is actually a pretty good fit on the Bucks. I get the move for Milwaukee, because something had to happen. It's fine!

When this deal went down, I was lukewarm on the return for Washington, but now I kind of love it. Middleton might be the team's new best player, and the real return here is AJ Johnson, a first-round pick this year who has miles of upside.

Milwaukee Bucks trade grade: C

Washington Wizards trade grade: B

RUMOR: Warriors, Mavericks have interest in Kevin Durant

Why not, right? Let's get really crazy. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, there's plenty of chatter about Durant as the clock ticks down before the deadline.

Mavericks ship Quentin Grimes and a pick to Sixers for Caleb Martin

Daryl Morey masterclass is in session, folks. I adore this deal for Philadelphia, which will be able to extend Grimes this summer when he is a restricted free agent.

This is far from Nico Harrison's worst deal in the past week, but it's still not great.

The more I think about it, the more I love the idea of Quentin Grimes with Tyrese Maxey. Grimes is the ideal perimeter partner for Maxey. He can guard 1-3 and he can shoot. If Grimes can stay healthy, that's a pairing that should work for years.

RUMOR: Jimmy Butler is not a hot commodity

According to Chris Haynes, the Heat are having a tough time finding a trade partner for Jimmy Butler. Could anyone guess why?

De'Aaron Fox to San Antonio, Zach LaVine to Sacramento in three-team blockbuster

De'Aaron Fox not playing for the Kings anymore will take some getting used to. He was the face of the best era of Kings basketball in two decades... and now he's gone, off to play with Victor Wembanyama in Texas.

Sacramento did a good job getting back picks and a good player in LaVine, especially with the whole world knowing that Fox wanted to play for the Spurs. With no leverage, this is a solid return.

For Chicago, it's... a move! That's progress!
