Anna Spidel is a health reporter for the KBIA Health & Wealth desk. A proud Michigander, Anna hails from Dexter, Michigan and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University in 2022. Previously, she worked with member station Michigan Radio as an assistant producer on
Stateside . Anna is thrilled to be working with KBIA and strives to cover a wide range of health issues across the state of Missouri. Additionally, she works with Side Effects Public Media to cover healthcare on a national scale. Anna loves camping, dining at local bars and restaurants, exploring Michigan’s beautiful Great Lakes beaches, and spending time with her family and boyfriend. She is always overjoyed to meet another Spartan and will never fail to respond to a “Go Green”.
