Goldfish is here to make your snack dreams come true.

No doubt we've eaten a few more snacks in the past year than we usually do. I mean, what else are you supposed to do in the face of quarantining and social distancing. I'm not even sure how to binge-watch anything anymore without a bag of chips nearby, and I know I can't be the only one as evidenced by the major jump in sweatpant sales

Luckily for all of us snackers, there's an all-ages favorite flavor hitting the grocery store shelves this month:

Welcome to the pantry Cheddar & Sour Cream Goldfish!

Yes, everyone's favorite cheesy bite-size crackers are getting a makeover in the best of ways thanks to the zest of sour cream flavoring. The classic potato chip taste will be adding a zingy kick to Goldfish's Flavor Blasted lineup, which also includes Cheddar Jack’d, Cheesy Pizza, White Cheddar, and Xtra Cheddar.

Goldfish has definitely stepped up its game in terms of flavors, adding classic flavor combinations to its products, as well as venturing into new dessert territory with flavors like vanilla cupcake, s’more, and fudge brownie.

Baked with real cheese without artificial flavors or preservatives, the new Cheddar & Sour Cream snack crackers will be available in select retailers, including Target.

They will retail for around $2.49 a bag, though they are cheaper on the Target website at the time of this writing; however, there was no way to order them from stores in my area or to have them shipped. So, they likely aren't widely available. They haven't even made their way onto Amazon, yet.

So far, the one review on the Target site was not positive, claiming the flavor combo reminded them of bleu cheese. But, that's only one person's opinion, so if you are interested in giving them a shot, keep your eyes peeled at your local retailers. You'll find them in the same aisle as all the other tasty flavors of Goldfish.

Are you game to try this new flavor or do you have a better flavor combo in mind? Let us know in the comments.
