Taco Bell lovers, rejoice! This Wednesday, the mecca of nacho cheese is giving away one Doritos Locos taco per guest between 2 and 6 p.m. in conjunction with its “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco” NBA Finals promotion. [embed]https://twitter.com/tacobell/status/1004566704578428928[/embed] No purchase is necessary, and the offer is good as long as supplies last. (But we suggest lining up early — who knows how many taco lovers will line up for this deal?). If you’re sitting there wondering what a Doritos Locos taco is, prepare to be amazed. (No, really.) Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos taco is a combination of seasoned beef, lettuce, and cheese served in a — wait for it —Doritos nacho cheese shell!

Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Taco Deal

Taco Bell has been working with the NBA to make your free taco dreams a reality since 2016. How does it work? Whenever a team “steals” a game on the home court of another team during the NBA Finals, Taco Bell gives out free tacos. (Hence the name “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco.”) This time, you can thank the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers for your delicious deal. The Warriors stole the show with a total of 110 points on June 6.
“The NBA Finals and Taco Bell are the perfect matchup, and we can’t wait to once again raise the stakes of an already fierce competition by putting free Doritos Locos tacos for America on the line,” said Marisa Thalberg, the global chief brand officer of Taco Bell Corp., in a press release. “This is the third time we’ve partnered with the NBA, and the power of our combined fanbase creates an exciting cultural moment around the Finals. We know one thing is for certain, everyone will be rooting for tacos.”
