If you're looking to escape to the mountains for a relaxing outdoor getaway, here is a comprehensive list of 12 different campsites near hot springs in Colorado for you to try!
Whether you want to get away for one night (or an entire week), these campsites across Colorado are all located near natural hot springs so that you can take in all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer while sleeping under the stars at night and soaking in the natural mineral-rich waters by day.
Glenwood Canyon Resort Camping (Glenwood Springs, CO)
Glenwood Canyon Resort has riverfront RV and tent campsites right next to the Colorado River, as well as bigger RV and group tent sites for if you're traveling big. Here, you can enjoy camping right by the river, as well as being a short drive away from the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort where you can soak in the natural Glenwood Springs hot spring pools. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, you can decide to hike Colorado's active volcano nearby.
The riverfront tent site rates are $54 per night here, and the off-river tent sites are $46 per night. To reserve a site and for all of the prices, check out their website for all information.
The Glenwood Hot Springs Resort peak weekend prices for non-guests are $29 per adult and $17.75 per child (ages 3-12). The prices here vary depending on the day, so check them all out here.

Pagosa River Campground (Pagosa, CO)
Pagosa River Campground has RV and tent sites. You can choose from a site that is lakeside, river, or wooded, as well as from three cabins available for rent. If you're a camper who doesn't want to give up some common luxuries, then you're in luck here, where they offer hot showers, restrooms, and laundromats open 24 hours, and wifi throughout the campground so you can stay in touch. This campground is located near the Healing Waters Resort and Spa as well as the Overlook Hot Springs Spa so that you can enjoy the natural pools during your trip.
The campsites here start at $27 per night. Water and electric sites start at $46 per night, and full hookup sites start at $51 per night. Each of these is per two adults, with $5 per each additional adult (with a maximum of six per site).
The Healing Waters Resort and Spa day rates start at $8 per child (ages 3-12) and $12 per adult, $9 per senior (65+). They have a vast selection of options that you can view here.

Pioneer Park (Hot Sulphur Springs, CO)
Pioneer Park is a first come first serve campground with 14 RV and tent sites with picnic tables and campfire areas. There are no water, electric, or sewer hookups here, so tent camping leaves you one with nature (and port-a-potties). This park is dog-friendly offers fishing, hiking, a disc golf course, and is within walking distance of restaurants and the Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa.
The rate for campsites here is $15 per night, and up to a 14-day stay is allowed.
The outdoor pool rates for the hot springs resort are $20 per adult and $12.50 for children (ages 3-11). There are also private pool rental options as well as a few different passes to select from on their site.

Denver West/Central City KOA (Central City, CO)
Located 35 miles west of Denver, this RV and tent campground has wifi, firepits, and dog parks, and is close-by to all of the casinos in Central City and Blackhawk. The Indian Hot Springs Healing Waters Spa is nearby, so you can soak up the minerals in one of their pools, jacuzzis, or geothermal caves. They even offer a mud facial or full body mud mask for the adventurous.
The tent sites here average $43 a night.
The rate for the Mineral Water Swimming pool is $18 per person Monday-Thursday and $20 per person Friday-Sunday (and holidays).
Joyful Journey Hot Springs Camping (Moffat, CO)
This place truly has it all. Here you can choose to stay in their lodge, yurts, at an RV site, or a traditional tent campsite. There's even the option to sleep in a tipi! The best aspect of all is that their hot spring pools are on-site. You can sleep out under the stars, then walk on over to the Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa and soak in the mineral water pools.
The tent campsites start at $59 for single occupancy and $69 for double. Check out their additional pricing information on their site.
The Spa pool rates start at $15 per adult and $12 for children aged 5-14. They also have additional package options for those looking to soak in their pools more than once.
Mount Princeton Campground (Nathrop, CO)
This campground offers a few first come, first serve tent sites, as well as reservable campsite options. A few of their sites are handicap accessible, and they provide accessible vault toilets as well. Each of their campsites has picnic tables and a campfire ring with a grill. There is fishing, swimming, and hiking available, all surrounded by fourteeners. Just four miles away is the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort where you can take a dip in their natural hot spring pools which are open to the public year-round. They even boast a waterslide at one of their pools!
The Mount Princeton campsites have a rate of $22 per night.
The rates for the Hot Springs Resort pools are $20 for adults and $15 for children (ages 4-15) Monday-Thursday, and $25 per adult and $20 per child (ages 4-15) Friday-Sunday. It's an additional $5 for an all-day waterslide pass. Check their prices and passes out here.

Dry Lake Campground (Steamboat Springs, CO)
This campground is open seasonally due to snow and opens mid-June through late October. It has eight campsites with tables and fireplace grates and trailer sites, all of which are first come first serve. The campground is surrounded by Aspen, Spruce, and Fir trees and is close to the Old Town Hot Springs. There are a handful of different pools for you to try out, including two 230 foot water slides.
The rate at this campground is $10 per unit per night.
The starting rate for the hot springs is $18 for adults, $12 for youths (ages 3-14) and $15 for seniors (65+) for an all-day pass. To see a full list of their pricing and pool options, click here.
Orvis Hot Springs Tent and Vehicle Camping (Ridgway, CO)
This campground offers both vehicle and tent camping on their sites, as well as two days of hot spring soaking in their on-site Orvis Hot Springs pools per night booked. Walk-in camping is available, but they recommend that you make a reservation as space is limited. The Hot Springs pools at Orvis Hot Springs are clothing optional, so that is something to consider. If you truly want to be one with nature, Orvis is your place to do so.
The campsite rates from March to October are $49 per person, per night, and $12 for children (ages 4-12). Children under the age of 3 are free.
The rates for the Hot Springs resort pools are $22 for an adult all-day pass and $10 for children.
Ridgway State Park (Ridgway, CO)
Ridgway State Park has 25 walk-in tent sites, 258 RV/tent sites, and three yurts. It has full-service facilities, including laundry and showers, and is kid- and pet-friendly. There is a beach with swimming, fishing, hiking, and water sports. This campground is nearby the Ouray Hot Springs Pool & Fitness Center. While you're here, you could also check out the Orvis Hot Springs as mentioned above.
The price to enter the park is $7.
The rates for the Ouray Hot Springs Pool and Fitness Center are $18 for adults and $12 for kids.

Heart of the Rockies Campground and RV Park (Salida, CO)
Heart of the Rockies Campground and RV Park has many different campsites available, along with fire pits, restrooms, paid laundry facilities and showers, and free wifi. The nearby activities include biking, fishing, hiking, white water rafting and kayaking, horseback riding, offroading, and wine and beer tasting. Nearby is the Salida Recreation and Hot Springs Aquatic Center where you can relax in the largest indoor hot springs in North America.
Tent campsites are $30 per day and RV sites are $45 per day at the Campground.
The Hot Springs rates are $11 per adult, $9 per senior, $5 per youth (ages 6-17), and $5 for children 0-3 years old.
Sand Dunes Recreation RV and Tent Camping (Hooper, CO)
Sand Dunes Recreation has 10 tent sites with a fire pit and table included, and 10 RV sites with water and electric hookups with a fire pit and table included, as well as 10 dry sites for overflow. The camping here is also on-site with the Sand Dunes hot spring swimming pool and offers half off pool prices for campers.
Tent camping is $20 per night + tax, and RV camping is $30 per night + tax. The dry sites for overflow are only $20 per night.
Regular rates for swimmers at the Sand Dunes Swimming Pool are $15 for adults 13 years and over, $10 for children (ages 3-12), and $12 for seniors (65+). The rate for campers to swim is $7.50 per adult and $5 per child.
Westerly RV Park (Durango, CO)
Westerly RV Park has 25 sites, each with full hook-ups and free wifi. They offer laundry but do not have public restrooms. Staying here would offer you with scenic views, a horseshoe pit and dog run, and clean landscaped grounds with picnic tables on each site. The RV park is nearby to Trimble Spa and Natural Hot Springs, and guests who camp at the site are given discounted entry.
Nightly rates for the RV park are $39-$47 and apply to one to two people per vehicle. Additional rates apply per additional person.
Rates for the Hot Springs are $17 per adult, $12 per child (ages 4-12), $3 for ages three and under, and $11 for Seniors (62+ with ID). There are special rates for locals, and with Military ID the rate is $7.
