Rocky Mountain National Park

As someone who lives in Colorful Colorado, it would be a mistake not to include Rocky Mountain on this list. Known for its stunning mountain vistas and wildlife sightings, this park offers a breathtaking RV camping experience. There are various RV parks in the area, including Glacier Basin Campground, which has many good reviews!

Black Canyon of the Gunnison

We had to throw in another Colorado spot! One of the lesser-known national parks, Black Canyon, has been said by some to be even better than the Grand Canyon. I've known multiple people who have visited and said it was one of the coolest places they've been, and I'm planning a trip myself to go there as well. South Rim Campground is located within the national park and sits on the canyon's rim. It's also open year-round.

Arches National Park

This park is home to more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, making it a must-visit for nature lovers. I have yet to make it there myself, but it's definitely on the list. Just look at how beautiful it is! It's truly an example of how wild nature can be. Devils Garden Campground is an option for RVers that live within the park, which makes for an extraordinary experience.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone has several RV-friendly campgrounds, including Fishing Bridge, the only campground in Yellowstone with water, sewer, and electrical connections. I spent a day in Yellowstone recently. There are so many hikes with so much to see, which means I will return. This is a great place to go and spend a few days so you can see as much as possible. Oh, and you'll probably catch some bison roaming the park streets!

Badlands National Park'

This park offers scenic beauty and solitude for RVers looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience. It may be off your radar of national parks to explore, but that's part of what makes it unique. HTR Black Hills is near the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, and more! It also takes the camping experience up a notch by offering amenities such as laundry, a hot tub, and even mini golf. Talk about glamping!

Congaree National Park

We're wrapping up with another underrated national park! If you want to hit the country's Eastern side, head over to Congaree National Park in South Carolina. It's home to a substantial intact expanse of old-growth bottomland hardwood forest, which is unique! Magnolia Campground is one option for RVers that is close to the park and offers a peaceful environment.

Now, Get Out There and Explore!

We hope this has given you a taste of what RV-friendly national parks offer.
