Cedar Rapids Police investigating shooting
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -- Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a shooting on Monday afternoon. Police received a report of a shooting in the 3100 block of C Avenue NE around 3:49 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, police found a minor with a non-life-threatening injury. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A garage fire was reported Sunday evening in Cedar Rapids in the 2400 Block of B Ave NE. At 7:36 PM, Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a detached garage engulfed in flames. Firefighters extingushed the fire, but there was major fire damage to the garage.
