Mexico has dominated the tournament, with Mexican teams winning 18 of the last 20 trophies, interrupted most recently by Seattle Sounders in 2022.Four MLS teams remain, with two of the biggest facing off today, April 2. LAFC will host Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, in Los Angeles. The teams will then meet again on April 9 at Chase Stadium in Miami, with the aggregate winner advancing to the semifinals.Unlike MLS games, CONCACAF matches aren’t streaming on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass. While Sling does not offer a free trial, it’s still one of the best values in streaming.ViX is a Spanish-language streaming service carrying live sports, series, and novelas across a range of channels. ViX will carry all of the CONCACAF matches live with Spanish commentary. It’s available as an add-on subscription for Prime members.The quarterfinals are split into two legs, with each team getting the opportunity for a home game. The aggregate winner of the two games will advance to the semifinals. The semifinals will be played in two legs, while a single-match final will be held on June 1. The remaining MLS Teams are LA Galaxy, LAFC, Inter Miami, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.Messi is expected to play against LAFC. Due to injuries, Miami is proceeding carefully regarding its star player, and Messi is not expected to play the full 90 minutes.Miami Head Coach Javier Mascherano told reporters after Miami’s win over Philadelphia, “The plan is for him to recuperate and travel to Los Angeles. Today, the time that he played, he played because he was good. We didn’t risk him.”
