One of the best summertime events by far is celebrating our nation's independence. Whether it's staring in wonder at a fireworks display, smelling the mouthwatering aroma of a barbecue grill, or just kicking back and enjoying the warm temperatures, this is a holiday that all Americans can treasure. 

In honor of our country's 244th birthday, Adams County is pulling out all the stops with their free 5th Annual Stars & Stripes event – packed with live music, food trucks, drinks, and a fireworks show the whole family can enjoy. Nothing beats a summer's evening in Colorado, especially one that is packed with fun for everyone! Besides, the next day is the 4th of July which means you can go to another fireworks show!
