Despite making the last three Super Bowls and winning two, the Kansas City Chiefs have quite a few needs heading into the 2025 NFL draft. The
Chiefs need to continue to add at the offensive skill positions as Rashee Rice works back from injury and Travis Kelce returns for Year 13. And while Kansas City addressed the offensive line in free agency, more additions on the line of scrimmage is needed. The same can be said on the defensive line, with Tershawn Wharton now in Carolina. Another impact pass rusher would help. Here's the Chiefs' picks, selections and grades for the 2025 NFL Draft.
1st Round, No. 32 overall (from Philadelphia) | Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Analysis: If he recovers from last year's season-ending knee injury in reasonable time, Simmons will be a decade-plus quality starter in the NFL. He is an excellent athlete for the position whose 2024 film was as good as any OT prospect in the class pre-injury. He's a top-10 talent going No. 32 to KC.
TRADE ALERT: The Eagles sent No. 32 and No. 164 overall to Kansas City for No. 31 overall, per ESPN.
