WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Anthony Kienlen has been found guilty on one count of attempted capital murder of a peace officer and has pleaded guilty to 15 charges of assault of a peace officer.

Kienlen’s sentence is undetermined at this time, but his conviction stems from a October 2021 event in which police responded to a call that Kienlen was considering suicide.

Kienlen would allegedly go on to retrieve multiple firearms from his residence and open fire on the law enforcement officers nearby.
