WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Suzanne Lindt, professor of undergraduate education at Midwestern State University, was honored with the 2024 Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Research Award. The award was presented Friday, March 28, by Texas Tech University System Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., and MSU Texas President Stacia Haynie. MSU Texas said Lindt, who also serves as chair of the Department of Undergraduate Education, began her teaching career in the public school system and later transitioned into higher education at MSU Texas. Alongside Stacia Miller, professor of Kinesiology at MSU Texas, Lindt published a textbook, Moving INTO the Classroom: A Handbook for Movement Integration in the Elementary Classroom. MSU Texas said the research award is one of two awards presented annually at each TTU System component institution through the Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching and Research Awards (CCDTRA) that recognize academic excellence across the TTU System.
