WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! It’s a cool day today with temperatures in the low-50s to upper-40s across Texoma today. Chilly, but warmer than we’ve seen the past few days. Heading into tomorrow temperatures are comfortable with highs in the low-60s, but it will be breezy for much of the day as a front drops in from the north. Central and southern Texoma is expected to be warmer than western and northern parts of Texoma as this front drops in shortly after lunch time - shutting off our heating sooner than later. This will set us up for a cold Sunday, but even colder weather is on the way by the middle of the week. An arctic front drops in on Tuesday and parks our temperatures below freezing from Tuesday night until Friday afternoon. There is a chance that we could get some wintry precipitation Tuesday into Wednesday, but models have backed off on those chances so we’re not too concerned about wintry precipitation at this time. The big story will be the pipe bursting weather.
